Common problem


1. The window sash is too large. Aluminum alloy casement windows have been widely used in southern my country due to their characteristics of high water tightness, not occupying indoor space, and convenient installation of screen windows. In recent years, large opening, floor-to-ceiling windows, and panoramic windows are beautiful and generous, and have been well received by customers. However, overly large opening fans have some safety problems in the use process, and even some falling window accidents have occurred, resulting in aluminum alloy outer casement windows. Some areas are restricted from use. The following is a brief analysis of some hidden safety hazards of aluminum alloy external casement windows.


According to DB33/T 1064-2021 "Technical Regulations for the Application of Exterior Windows in Aluminum Alloy Buildings" 4.2.5 The width of the casement sash should not exceed 650mm, the height should not exceed 1500mm, and the opening angle should not exceed 75°.


When the width of the sash exceeds 650mm, we should limit the opening angle of the sash, set the limit angle on the sliding brace, and install the micro-ventilation limiter, the main function is to prevent people from falling and ensure safety. According to the human body structure, considering the safety of the operator and the convenience of operation when opening and closing, the window sash should not be too large, and the sliding support of the functional parts has certain load requirements. Exceeding the corresponding load parameters will seriously affect the window sash. The long-term use of the opening and closing function and the frequent occurrence of falling objects in the news media have led to one after another shocking bloody case, hurting innocent people. Therefore, solving the problems of oversized window sash and firm hardware connection and reducing potential safety hazards is the first priority.


2. Scraping and abnormal noise when sliding support is opened and closed. The sliding brace is a device that supports the window sash to realize opening, closing and positioning.
